Please un-Ban me !

I've played for hours and hours on the Public 24/7 (102) server and have loved it (my first experience of playing Online anything), I met good players (better than me obviously) and everyone was friendly. But on Wednesday evening (UK) I got banned from it and I have no idea why.

My game name is "flickknife", I use a fully patched COD4 (Steam), Punkbuster and absolutely no Mods or Hacks.
I really am not sure what happened, one minute I was hiding under a container lorry on the "Missile silo" map, next I was shown a screen which said "you have been booted out" and now when I try to rejoin I get "Error - Banned for Life"
I've got a up to date anti-virus, and not "hacked" myself, as far as I know.

All I remember was the "Chat" text looking odd, like unusual characters and symbols, but everything else was fine, my ping is about 54 on average and I've never had any problems before (other than my appalling skills). I got banned about 9.30 UK time if this helps. I can also play on any of the other servers, but I like the 102, a good crowd.

Can you help, If not, that's Ok I can use another server, but I'd really like to know what I did wrong ?

I don't know what a GUID code is and as I said the Chat was all mixed up so I did not see any admin name before I was banned, I just suddenly "black screened" and a message saying I had been booted off the server.

I can get hold of my IP address if you need it ?
